Ordering
Dogood Florals delivery is available Monday to Saturday.
Order pick up is available Monday to Saturday between 8:00am and 2:00pm from Cuppo at 157 Melville Rd, Brunswick West. Order cut off is 8:00pm for next day delivery.
Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed, with deliveries occurring between 8:00am - 5:00pm, however requested delivery times will be taken into consideration. Delivery costs can be found on my Terms and Conditions page.
Please note; your order is not confirmed until Dogood Florals has made contact with you and payment has been made. Dogood Florals does not have a shop front and operates out of a private studio.
Caring for Your Flowers
Just received a bunch and want to know how best to look after them? Follow the tips below and this will help keep your blooms happy and get the best vase-life out of them!
Use a clean vase filled with fresh tap water. Nothing else, no bleach or sugar, just clean tap water.
As soon as your flowers arrive, take them out of the wrapping. Remove the plastic and any paper towel around the stems. I recommend keeping your bouquet tied with the string as this helps all the stems stay in the spots I have placed them and maintain the bouquet’s shape in the vase.
Give all the stems a little trim, snipping off a couple of centremetres.
Try to change the vase water every two or three days, as this will help avoid any bacteria from building up in the water which can cause the water to get smelly and the stems to go mushy!
Pick a good spot for your blooms to sit that are out of direct sunlight or in the way of heaters or air conditioners.
Different flowers bloom and wilt at different rates to one another. Removing any wilted blooms will help ensure they don’t affect the longer-lasting flowers in your bunch.
And just remember at the end of the day, they weren’t meant to last forever! Take a moment every day to take in and appreciate your bouquet, enjoy it as fully as possible for those few days you have it there to enjoy!
